This specification outlines general guides for the materials selection, preparation, application, and installation for the tiling systems on the floors within heavy traffic and commercial areas (e.g. shopping centres, showrooms, driveways etc).
Ensure substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust, oil, and contaminants. Surface must be structurally sound. Priming is optional depending on condition of the substrate.
Movement Joints
Use WP MS-PU Polyurethane Sealant as a bond breaker in the corners, FC Sheet joints, structural joints etc. Apply minimum 2 coats of WP-1 PINK waterproofing membrane.
Tile Installation
ADH-33, ADH-44, ADH-55 or ADH-66 are suitable for wet areas tiling. Check Specification Document or product pages to select the best option for your job.
Grout
Choose from a wide range of colours of Spectrum Futura Lightweight Grout suitable for joints from 1mm to 30mm wide.
Select a colour of Spectrum Futura S-25 silicone to match the grout for all movement and perimeter joints.
